10th Asian Conference on Intelligent Information and Database Systems (ACIIDS)

On March 19-20 Thomas Bäck participated the ACIIDS 2018 in Dong Hoi City, Vietnam.

The primary focus of the conference lies on intelligent information and database systems, and provides the opportunity for a scientific exchange on this topic. Mr. Bäck gave a presentation on Data-Driven Machine Learning and Optimization for Industry. The main focus of this talk is the application of optimization algorithms in order to optimize one or multiple objectives like product quality and robustness, by giving some practical examples from the automotive industry.
