Beginning of EU-project CoPro

divis participates at EU-project CoPro, starting effective November 2016.

The aim of the project is to enhance the efficiency of energy and resource consumption of the process industry. Together with our project partners we will develop and test methods and tools for plant control, process monitoring and optimal dynamic planning under dynamic market conditions to achieve the set objectives. Five suitable use cases were chosen for the test series:

• Petrochemical production site
• Base chemicals and polymer production site
• Recycling system in cellulose production
• Consumer product formulation and packaging plant
• Food processing plant

These application cases cover a wide range of sectors of the process industry as well as the complete value chain. Furthermore, the project plan includes the development of methods to coordinate plants of different companies. This will provide a better access to industrial symbiosis.
